Sinopsi:
E' la storia di Davide, un diciassettenne orfano che vive in un quartiere della periferia di Torino con il fratello, sua moglie e il bambino di sette mesi. L'ambiente familiare non ¬ facile: la coppia vive in modo disordinato, fa uso di stupefacenti, litiga. A farne le spese ¬ il bambino a cui Davide dedica un po' del suo tempo. Superato l'esame di Stato Il ragazzo decide di passare l'estate dagli zii materni nella Pianura Padana. Da questo momento la sua vita sarà segnata da avvenimenti ancor più sconvolgenti: l'incontro con una giovane donna dalla doppia vita, un eroinomane che di giorno lavora in maglieria: l'impatto con il mondo della droga: l'uccisione del giovane bosniaco Semso con cui hanno fatto amicizia: la scoperta dei sesso. Davide ¬ costretto a cambiare. Certo non sogna più. Ha accettato la realtà da cui ¬ partito: Torino, la casa del fratello, con la cognata, il piccolo nipote e il garage. The story of David, a 17 year old orphan who lives in the suburbs of Turin with his brother, his brother’s wife and their 7 month old child. The circumstances are not easy, since the couple live in chaos – often taking drugs, arguing and fighting. David spends part of his time with the baby – the one who suffers most from the situation. When David passes his exams and finishes school he decides to spend the summer with his uncle and aunt in the Po Valley. From this moment he lives through a series of confusing and shocking events. After meeting a young woman who works in a knitwear shop to finance her heroin addiction, he learns about the dark world of drugs. He discovers sex and also encounters death, when a young Bosnian he had made friends with is killed. David is forced to change. He gives up his dreams and accepts the reality of his life. He returns to Turin to live with his brother's family and goes back to his job in the garage: washing and polishing other people's cars
