Plot: When John Emmett's car breaks down on the way to his vacation, he agrees to be Ann Nicholson's traveling companion. John quickly becomes entangled in Ann's danger-filled attempts to deliver secret plans. Off on vacation, John Emmett is stranded in Jefferson when his car gives out. Innocently accepting a lift east from Anne Nicholson he soon finds himself dealing with the nurse who has been handling her nervous breakdown and with State police after her for murder. Then Anne tells him her own story of East Berlin espionage.
