Plot: Chorine Rusty Parker wins out in a cover girl contest for 'Vanity' magazine because she's the image of her grandmother...the lost love of magazine mogul John Coudair. But her instant fame throws a spanner in her romance with Danny McGuire, her dancing mentor... Rusty Parker, a dancer at Danny McGuire's Night Club is interested in being the cover girl of a magazine. She becomes it, because John Coudair, the owner of this magazine discovers, that her grandmother Maribelle Hicks was the girl he almost had married 40 years ago. Rusty, who is in love with Danny is attracket by the glamour of the High Society and breaks with Danny to become a Broadway Star. She also starts an affair with one of Coudairs friends. But directley before her marriage, she recognizes, that she almost has made the same mistake as her grandmother.
