Plot: Four young starlets, from various parts of the world, are called to Hollywood to test for the lead in a major film. Each is romantically pursued by the director (Nader), composer (Chaplin) , playboy (Williams), and actor (Gavin.) Manning National (read: Universal International) Studio lacks a leading lady for their new picture, since star Rita Holloway (seen only in rear view) is uncooperative. So they try a global search a la Gone with the Wind. We follow the fortunes of four gorgeous hopefuls from France, Italy, Austria, and Minnesota who come to be tested. They're guided through the mazes of Hollywood by Mike Snowden, who has his own ambitions.
