Sinopsi:
Mentre viene trasferito dal manicomio criminale dove è recluso per aver ucciso 16 persone, il maniaco omicida Michael Myers riesce a fuggire a a raggiungere la cittadina di Haddonfield, dove il medico che lo ha catturato Loomis, sospetta voglia uccidere la nipotina, Jamie Lloyd. Costei vive con i genitori adottivi, ed è accudita dalla sorellastra Rachel. Loomis trova Myers in un autogrill, dove ha massacrato tutti e tenta di fermarlo. In città dove si festeggia Holloween, mentre Al, avvertito da Loomis, improvvisa una caccia all'uomo uccidendo per sbaglio un barbone, Loomis convince lo sceriffo Meeker a cercare Jamie. barricatasi nella casa dello sceriffo, la cui figlia Kelly si sollazza con Brady, il ragazzo di Rachel, vengono assaliti da Myers che, uccide l'agente di guardia Kelly e Brady. Plot: Michael Myers is being transmitted from Richmond Mental Institute, when he breaks free, and goes after Jamie Lloyd (Danielle Harris). Jamie is the daughter of his late sister, Laurie Strode (the heroine of the 1st 2 installments). Due to her parent's deaths, Jamie is adopted by the Carruthers family, and Michael stalks out the teenaged Rachel (Ellie Cornell), and the young Harris. Dr. Loomis (Donald Pleasence) returns again to stop Michael's reign of terror. Following on from Halloween II, Michael Myers escapes from Richmond Mental Institute whilst being transferred, this time going after his niece, Jamie Lloyd. Doctor Loomis follows him back to Haddonfield, and attempts to stop him once and for all. Fourth in the series and the third to feature the character of Michael Myers. It's October 30, 1988 and Michael Myers has been in a coma since his pursuit of Laurie Strode, 10 years ago, was finally stopped (events of H1 and H2). However when he is transfered from Richmond Mental Institute to Smith's Grove he awakes when he hears that he has a niece in Haddonfield and after killing the transfer crew he escapes. In Haddonfield, the niece, Jamie, has been adopted by the Carruthers family but keeps having nightmares about Michael (but he doesn't know who he is). On Halloween night, Jamie goes out trick and treating, little knowing that her murdering Uncle is following her and her step-sister Rachel. Rushing to her aid is Dr. Loomis and with the help of Sheriff Meeker starts to search the town for Michael and to find Jamie to protect her. But can anything stop Michael this time?... Ten years ago he changed the face of Halloween. While being transferred from a mental institute, he escapes and returns to his hometown of Haddenfield, to kill his niece Jamie Lloyd. The power goes out all over the town, and Jamie and her step sister Rachel are locked in the house alone with Michael... Ten years ago on October 31st, Michael Myers returned to Haddonfield to kill Laurie Strode. He was ultimately stopped by Dr. Loomis and has been in a coma ever since. But when he is being transfered from Richmond Mental Institute to Smith's Grove he wakes up when he hears he has a niece in Haddonfield. After killing the transfer crew he escapes and makes his way to Haddonfield. Dr. Loomis learns Michael is awake and follows him to Haddonfield. Meanwhile in Haddonfield, the niece Jamie Lloyd, who was adopted by the Carruthers family, keeps on having nightmares about the Boogieman. On Halloween night, Jamie goes out trick and treating, little knowing that Michael is out there, looking for her. On the same day, Dr. Loomis arrives in Haddonfield to ask the local police for help. With the help of Sheriff Meeker, Dr. Loomis starts to search the town for Michael and to find Jamie. But is there any hope of stopping Michael this time?
