The Hurdy Gurdy Man
Plot: This film is basically a vanity statement from director Gabor Dettre (here billed as Gabe Von Dettre) about how a talented Hungarian director (played by Brad Dourif) struggles in New York, unable to get work, while less talented directors take plum assignments. The film follows the director in his apartment and around the streets as he addresses his own situation in a camcorder.
