Plot: On an unnamed Pacific island occupied by the U.S. Marines, Fingers brags that he helped many people in show business advance their careers. He even claims that he helped 'George Gershwin' (qv) write "Rhapsody In Blue." At this point, Fingers' comrades start to disbelieve his stories. A short time later, a well known female singer (who is a pinup of one of the men) shows up and tells them that Fingers "made her what she is today." Perhaps his stories are on the level after all.
