Plot: This was a sci-fi show about a guy and his son having super human healing powers. They got this power from being too close to a van that had some kind of chemical in it and it exploded, causing the guy to be badly burned and having to go to the hospital. The burns soon just healed magically.. An ordinary single father, who can't seem to hold a job due to his stress ulcers, and his son are exposed to gasses brought back from another planet by a NASA space probe. The gasses allow them to heal at incredible speeds, but they are susceptible to passing out in full darkness. The father is recruited to stop a madman who has stolen laser technology that is imperfect and liable to explode. Teamed with a beautiful agent, and with his son tagging along, can he prevent the destruction of most of California and it's northern suburbs??
