Plot: Louis Stephens is a former green beret who isn't predisposed to take crap from a bunch of high school punks. A former graduate of the notorious Lincoln High School in Miami, FL, Louis decides to return to his old school and inspire students through the spectacular martial art of capoeira. He is hit with a rough realization when his first experiences at Lincoln include a student trying to buy drugs from him, (this is Eddie, the joker who will soon be one of his students) and a street fight with a drug dealer on the playground. Enlisting the help of his old social studies teacher Mr. Kerrigan and his old High School flame Diana, Louis requests the twelve worst students be sent to him in an abandoned fire house to learn how to fight and respect others. Inevitably, Louis bumps heads with the local gang leader Silverio Alivarez, who has a cousin (Orlando) in Louis's class. As the time goes by, the students become more and more respectful to Louis and each other and Silverio becomes more and more hostile.
