Plot: In a remote northern outpost, Kirby has accumulated a fortune in gold by overcharging the townspeople. When his man Beaumont tries to leave he has him killed with Larry Daniels knife. Sergeant Crawford thinks Larry is innocent and while he is trying to find the real killer, Kirby is trying to find a chance to sneak away with the gold.
