Plot: Detective superintendent Rosa Roth befriends Gerlinde Koch, who's infected with AIDS. She got the virus during an operation. When one of her doctors is killed shortly after, Gerlinde gets under suspect. Rosa Roth finds out that there were several more infection cases and that other doctors, who used the same cheap blood plasma, are threatened by the unknown killer too. In an unrelated case she investigates in the red-light district.
