Plot: Remake of the classic John Ford movie which originally starred John Wayne is not quite as illustrious as the first film. Devised as a starrer for country music stars, the film has been modified to give the stars their screen time. Story follows a stagecoach ride through Old West Apache territory. On board are a cavalry man's pregnant wife (Mary Crosby), a prostitute with a broken heart (Elizabeth Ashley), a Marshal (Johnny Cash) taking in his prisoner Johnny Ringo (Kris Kristofferson), a crooked gambler (Waylon Jennings), and the infamous Doc Holliday (Willie Nelson).
