Plot: The story took place on a naval base and dealt with the Mallory family headed by patriarch, Admiral Thomas Mallory. He had three daughters, Celia (Susan Dey), Kay (Stephanie Dunnham) and Leslie (Doran Clark). Celia was unhappily married to Jack Warren but loved Simon Adams. Kay was fighting for her lover Glenn Matthews (Andrew Stevens) with southern bitch Hillary Adams (Sela Ward). Other principal characters included kindly Maggie Farrell (Maud Adams) who was in love with Thomas and Hillary's evil father Harlan Adams who was sleeping with Thomas' sister-in-law Deanna Kincaid.
