Plot: In this spinoff from the series "Melrose Place," Hilary Michaels, the estranged mother of Amanda Woodward, is the owner, president and CEO of Models Inc., a top Los Angeles modeling agency which, like her ruthless and aggressive daughter on "Melrose Place," she runs her company with an iron fist and deals with all the usual problematic situations with the models and co-workers of the agency which include, backstabbing, murder, betrayal, seduction, blackmail, stalking, and other trash on an everyday basis. Spin-off to Melrose Place transplanting Amanda Woodward's mother Hillary Michaels to this show. Set in Los Angeles, it revolved around Hillary's company Models, Inc and the employees including alcoholic Sarah Owens and bitchy Julie Dante. Mid-season the show was retooled adding to the cast African-American Cynthia (Garcelle Beauvais) and mysterious nightclub owner Adam Louder (James Wilder) who was attempting to get rid of his scheming ex-wife Grayson (Emma Samms).
